Timesheets
This screen allows the entry timesheet information.
Rules and Guidelines
- The fields available on this screen may vary depending on a Manager's Timesheet Templates selection.
- Select the date for the corresponding timesheet details that you are entering.
- Click the Save button to save timesheet entries that are not yet submitted.
- The batch submission of saved entries is enabled via the Submit button.
- The "Current Period End Date" is displayed on the right hand side of this screen. This field is read-only.
- Any record with a status of 'Request Submitted' or 'Approved by Manager' will lock this screen.
Field Information

Enter the start time for the date selected. Note that:
- The value in this field cannot be greater than the "End Time".
- When the "Start Time" and "End Time" fields are displayed in the Timesheet, the "Hours" field will be set to read-only.

Enter the end time for the date selected. Note that:
- The value in this field must be greater than the "Start Time".
- When the "Start Time" and "End Time" fields are displayed in the Timesheet, the "Hours" field will be set to read-only.

Enter the length of break in minutes. The maximum value in this field is '999'.

Select the applicable hours code from the dropdown list.

Enter the number of worked hours for that date. Note that when the "Start Time" and End Time" fields are displayed in the Timesheet, the "Hours" field is set to read-only.

Select the applicable account number from the dropdown list.

The Basic rate/Hourly rate of the employee will be auto updated for Rate codes. Key in the Rate for Cash codes

This is a read-only field (i.e. the value displayed is from Employee Record).

Select from the dropdown the department you area a part of.

Select from the dropdown the cost code for accounting purposes.

This will display the status of your timesheet entry (e.g. Request Submitted, Approved by Manager, etc).

Enter or edit comment/s in this field. Once the changes are saved, double-click in each field/column to view the comment/s.

Select the applicable leave reason from the dropdown list.

Was a doctor's certificate provided? Select the applicable option (e.g. Yes or No).

This free format 8-character field is used to define additional timesheet details.
Button

Once clicked, this button prompts the you to decide whether or not the system will print a summary of the records to submit.
- This will be a PDF Report detailing all records that are being submitted (i.e. up to Today's date with a status of 'Saved', grouped by Date).
- Once a timesheet is 'Submitted', the records that are set to 'Saved' before Today's date will be moved to the Workflow and the records set to 'Request Submitted'.
- A single email/alert will be sent to the Manager advising that there are timesheets to review, with a link to the Report included.
